Pinehurst Surgical Clinic Welcomes Brittany M. Lowery, CNM
(Pinehurst, NC) Pinehurst Surgical Clinic is pleased to announce the addition of Brittany M. Lowery, CNM, to our Pinehurst location, where she will be serving alongside the talented providers of our Women’s Comprehensive Health Department. We’re thrilled to introduce Lowery to the communities we serve and know her commitment to compassion and hard work will benefit both patients and providers alike.
Lowery joins us from the world of midwifery, a service she offered in rural communities where quality care and care access are often threatened. With an undergraduate degree in nursing from East Carolina University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University, Lowery established a solid foundation for her work. She went on to practice midwifery at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC, receiving her board certification from the American Midwifery Certification Board. With such an extensive resume, we have no doubt that Lowery brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience, from which we will certainly learn.
Lowery’s addition to our department allows us to continue our provision of family-centered care for women across ages and stages of life. And as believers in access to quality care, no matter a patient’s background or need, we welcome her experience serving minority women with high-risk conditions and comorbidities. Other areas of Lowery’s practice include:
- Comprehensive midwifery care
- Birth control management
- STD screening and treatment

- Gynecologic care, including annual visits
- Annual wellness visits
